Fruity Treats

Fruity Treats, developed by Pragmatic Play, captures the essence of classic slot gaming with its uncomplicated yet engaging design. Set against a moving purple background that sparkles, the game maintains the charm of traditional slots. While its design may seem simple, Fruity Treats offers an accessible experience for players of all levels, inviting them to enjoy the game without the complexity of modern slots.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Fruity Treats stands out as a straightforward slot by Pragmatic Play. It is set on a 7×7 grid and utilizes the Cluster Pays mechanics. Players need at least five matching symbols to claim a win. Following a win, the symbols vanish, allowing new symbols to drop into place for possible further wins. This game offers a standard RTP rate of 96.05% and high volatility.

Multiplier Spots: The game includes four marked spots on the grid that change position with each spin. A win on these spots adds a multiplier for the next spin. If no wins occur, the multiplier resets. However, the multiplier is applied if a win is achieved on a subsequent spin that includes a marked spot. After a win, the multipliers for any marked spot that was part of the win increase by their initial amount, set at x5, x10, x15, or x20, depending on the spot's colour.

Free Spins: Securing 3 to 7 (or more) Scatter symbols triggers 10 Free Spins, along with a win multiplier ranging from 2x to 1,000x the bet, based on the number of Scatters landed. This round follows the same rules as the regular game but keeps multiplier values fixed for its duration. Landing 3 or more Scatters during this round awards an extra 5 Free Spins.

Bonus Buy: Players looking for immediate action can use the Bonus Buy feature to enter the Free Spins round directly. One option costs 100x the bet for the regular round and has an RTP of 96.08%, while the other, priced at 200x, offers Super Free Spins with all spots starting at a 20x multiplier and also has an RTP of 96.08%.

Design and Soundtrack

Fruity Treats lacks a distinct setting, featuring a dynamic purple backdrop adorned with sparkles, echoing the simplicity of traditional casino slots. Despite its straightforward design, some may find it lacks innovation. The paytable is a sweet assortment of candies, cherries, lemons, oranges, and apples. The soundtrack is adequate, fitting the theme without standing out.

For enthusiasts seeking a richer candy-themed experience, Pragmatic Play's Candy Blitz Bombs offers an enhanced alternative, while Relax Gaming's Sweetopia Royale delivers greater complexity in gameplay.

The Bottom Line

Fruity Treats, developed by Pragmatic Play, stands out with its Cluster Pays mechanics set on a 7×7 grid, offering a modern twist on the slot genre. The game truly shines with its Multiplier Spots feature, injecting excitement and the chance for increased winnings with each spin. Despite its straightforward design, these dynamic multipliers add a depth of engagement, making every moment in the game potentially rewarding.
