Mahjong Wins 3 Black Scatter

Mahjong Wins 3 Black Scatter is a captivating online slot developed by Pragmatic Play. This game draws its inspiration from Japanese dragon mythology, making it an appealing option for enthusiasts of Japanese culture. Set against a backdrop that celebrates this rich heritage, the game not only captivates visually but also offers unique features. Therefore, players who activate these features can anticipate a more rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Mahjong Wins 3 Black Scatter is an online slot framed by a dynamic 5-reel grid with an unusual row configuration of 4-5-5-5-4. The game stands out with a high RTP of 97% and blends high volatility with 2,000 paylines.

Tumble Feature – This slot introduces the Tumble Feature, where after each spin, winning combinations pay out, and the symbols involved disappear. The remaining icons drop to the lowest possible positions while new symbols cascade from above to fill the gaps. This process repeats until no new wins form from the tumbles. Cumulative winnings are added to the player's balance once no further tumbles occur.

Tumble Multipliers – During the base game, a win multiplier increases with each tumble, progressing from 2x to 3x and finally to 5x. From the fourth tumble onwards, the multiplier remains at 5x for any subsequent tumbles within that spin. In addition, this multiplier resets at the end of the sequence.

Gold Symbols – At any point in the game, select symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4 may be highlighted in gold, enhancing their potential. If these Gold symbols form part of a winning combination, they transform into Wilds for the next tumble, increasing the chance of further wins.

Free Spins – Landing 3 or more Scatters triggers the Free Spins feature, awarding 10 initial Free Spins, with an additional 2 spins for each Scatter beyond the third. During these spins, all symbols on reel 3 turn gold, and each win begins with a 2x multiplier, escalating up to 10x after successive tumbles and remains at this level from the fourth tumble onwards. This feature can be retriggered by hitting three or more Scatters, repeating the initial reward. Notably, the Black Scatter symbol is absent during Free Spins.

Black Scatter – The Black Scatter symbol appears on the central 3 reels. Combining with standard Scatters, it triggers payout multipliers for the spin:

• 1 Black Scatter with 3 or more Scatters of any kind pays 50x the total bet.
• 2 Black Scatters with 3 or more Scatters pay 500x.
• 3 Black Scatters with 3 or more Scatters pay 5,000x.
• 4 Black Scatters with 3 or more Scatters pay 100,000x.

Design and Soundtrack

Mahjong Wins 3 Black Scatter immerses players in a setting inspired by Japanese dragons. The backdrop of the game combines a palette of light pink and orange hues, with coins scattered at the bottom and floating around. Moreover, two impressive dragons stand guard and surround the grid, enhancing the mythical feel. Each reel is adorned with Japanese hieroglyph symbols carved into cards, contributing to the aesthetic authenticity of the theme. Adding to the immersive experience, an accompanying soundtrack echoes the mystical elements of the gameplay, enriching the overall atmosphere.
