Dear Santa

Red Tiger Gaming presents Dear Santa, an online slot designed to enhance the cozy ambiance of festive days. Players are immersed in a Christmas setting, rich with classic holiday details that deepen the festive aesthetic. The game incorporates unique, Christmas-themed features that not only add to the visual appeal but also offer additional opportunities for substantial wins, creating a rewarding and exciting experience as if Santa himself has paid a visit.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Dear Santa is an online slot set against a conventional 5-reel, 3-row grid. This game offers a slightly lower RTP of 95.76% and combines medium to high volatility with 25 paylines.

Snow White Wild Symbol – This symbol emerges only on the leftmost reel in both the base game and during the Free Spins, accompanied by a win multiplier of x2, x3, x5, or x10. The multiplier enhances any wins that incorporate the Snow White Wild, which also substitutes for any paying symbol.

Santa Wild Symbol – Appearing on reels 2, 3, and 4 in the base game, this symbol substitutes for any paying symbol and expands across the entire reel to facilitate a win. During the Free Spins round, a Santa Wild is permanently expanded on the middle reel throughout the bonus round, although no additional Santa Wilds will appear.

Free Spins – To activate this feature, players must land 3 Scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4 and accumulate at least 60 Christmas Letter symbols in the mailbox located above the grid. This awards 10 Free Spins. At the onset of this feature, a Santa Wild is placed on the middle reel and remains sticky until the end of the round.

During the Free Spins, Santa randomly disperses Christmas Present Wilds onto reels 2 and/or 4 for each Christmas Letter collected in the mailbox, with a maximum of 6 at any one time. Any unclaimed Christmas Letters in the mailbox are carried over to the base game, contributing to the next bonus round. Additionally, the Free Spins cannot be retriggered, as no additional Scatters will appear during the round.

Christmas Letter Symbol – This symbol may appear on the rightmost reel. Each symbol that lands is collected in the mailbox positioned above the reel.

Christmas Present Wild Symbol – This symbol appears exclusively during the Free Spins rounds and substitutes for any paying symbols.

Design and Soundtrack

Dear Santa is an online slot that captures the essence of the festive season, making it ideal for holiday play. The game is set against a festive backdrop featuring an archway adorned with Christmas garlands. Additionally, the grid itself is embellished with golden accents and the iconic red and white candy cane motif. The symbols within the grid contribute to the holiday spirit, with the 10-A figures styled as tree ornaments complete with gold detailing alongside images of candy canes, rocking horse toys, ice skates, and bells. Complementing this warm Christmas design is a soundtrack that perfectly enhances the festive atmosphere.

The Bottom Line

The Snow White and Santa Wilds add layers of excitement with multipliers and expanding capabilities. Additionally, the innovative Free Spins round, triggered by accumulating Christmas Letter symbols, enriches gameplay by introducing sticky and randomly placed Wilds, adding strategic depth. Although the RTP is slightly lower than average, the combination of medium to high volatility with these unique festive features makes this slot a rewarding choice for players looking for dynamic gameplay and festive cheer.
