Invaders Blitz

Invaders Blitz places players inside an alien spaceship setting filled with sci-fi visuals and animated details. The game is provided by Light & Wonder and features a selection of mechanics designed to support stronger payouts and keep the action moving across each spin.

Gameplay Features and Bonuses

Invaders Blitz runs on a 6×4 grid and sits in the medium volatility range, paired with an RTP of 95.93%. The setup offers 4,096 ways to win, with betting options ranging from €0,10 up to €20,00 per spin.

Wild Symbol

Wild symbols act as substitutes for all standard symbols, excluding Black, Brown, and Pink Cash Cow symbols, along with Normal Collect, Respin Collect, Multiplier Collect, and Bonus symbols. They can appear on all reels except reel 1, and during Symbol Eliminator Free Spins, they apply a 2x multiplier when part of a winning combination.

Cash Cow

Cash Cow symbols display fixed cash values directly on the reels and can appear on all reels except during Symbol Eliminator Free Spins. They are collected when a Normal Collect, Respin Collect, or Multiplier Collect symbol lands. If a Cash Cow appears together with any Lightning Collect symbol, its value is awarded immediately. When no Lightning Collect symbols are present, Cash Cow symbols may be randomly beamed up and added to the Cowtainer Meter. During Cow Collect Free Spins, the same cash values apply as in the base game, with the €0,50 value excluded.

Lightning Collect Symbols

Lightning Collect symbols can land once per reel and appear only on reels 1 and 6 in the base game and during Cow Collect Free Spins. Each symbol appears as a Normal Collect, Respin Collect, or Multiplier Collect. Respin Collect takes priority whenever it lands, triggering its Respin first. After the Respins finish, all Lightning Collect symbols activate and collect every Cash Cow symbol, starting from reel 1. Normal Collect awards the full combined Cash Cow value, while Respin Collect locks relevant symbols in place before resolving as a Normal Collect. Landing 3 or more Bonus symbols during a Respin locks them until completion and triggers the Free Spins Feature Picker. Multiplier Collect increases the total collected Cash Cow value using 2x or 3x multipliers, plus 4x in the base game or 5x during Cow Collect Free Spins.

Cowtainer Meter

The Cowtainer Meter gathers up to one Cash Cow symbol per reel on spins where no Collect symbols appear. Each collected symbol increases the meter and adds to the displayed total value. Reaching 75 or higher triggers the Bonus Wheel, which awards a percentage of the collected amount ranging from 1% to 100%. After the spin, the meter refills with 10 Cash Cow symbols worth 10% of the awarded total, rounded to two decimal places. If the Bonus Wheel and the Free Spins Feature Picker trigger together, the Bonus Wheel resolves first, and the Cowtainer Meter remains persistent between spins.

Cow Collect Free Spins

Cow Collect Free Spins guarantee at least 1 Lightning Collect symbol landing on reel 1 or reel 6 on every spin. The reels used during this feature contain only Lightning Collect symbols, Cash Cow symbols, or empty positions. Landing 2 Lightning Collect symbols during this feature awards an additional Free Spin.

Symbol Eliminator Free Spins

Symbol Eliminator Free Spins remove the lowest-paying Royal symbol from the reels whenever it appears in a winning combination. Eliminations follow the order 9, 10, J, Q, K, then A and do not apply to the final Free Spin. Only Royal symbols can be removed, and the feature uses the same bet, payout rules, and winning combinations as the triggering base game, without the option to retrigger.

Jackpots

The Mini, Minor, and Major jackpots are fixed prizes. A jackpot is awarded when a Black, Brown, or Pink Cash Cow symbol lands in its assigned jackpot role alongside any Normal Collect, Respin Collect, or Multiplier Collect symbol.

Design and Soundtrack

Invaders Blitz places the action inside a spaceship environment that leans heavily into sci-fi styling. Alien-themed visuals, glowing details, and animated effects shape the presentation, supported by symbols that combine 10-A figures with aliens, cows, and mad scientists. The soundtrack features electric melodies and reactive sound effects that follow events on the grid.

Players interested in a comparable setup may also look at Invaders Takeover, also from Light & Wonder, along with Alien Invaders by Pragmatic Play, which explores a similar sci-fi direction through different mechanics.

The Bottom Line

Invaders Blitz centers its feature set on collection mechanics that drive frequent interactions and shape how payouts develop across spins. Lightning Collect symbols drive most outcomes through Respins, multipliers, and direct value collection, while Cash Cow symbols feed into persistent systems like the Cowtainer Meter and Bonus Wheel. Two distinct Free Spins modes shift reel behavior and symbol availability, which adds structure and variation. Fixed jackpots tied to Cash Cow symbols add another payout route without interrupting the main gameplay.
