Wynn Resorts is advancing its €3.7 billion Wynn Al Marjan Island project in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, marking the first gaming-integrated resort in the Middle East. Construction began in 2022 and has since reached 55% completion, with the main tower now standing at 26 floors and a December 2025 topping-off milestone in sight. The project involves over 9,100 workers, supported by daily concrete deliveries, and is progressing at a pace of one floor per week. With 73% of its 1,542 guest rooms structurally complete and 820 rooms in the fit-out stage, the resort is on track for its planned 2027 opening.
Wynn Al Marjan Island is set to redefine luxury and entertainment in the region with features such as a five-star spa, a beach club, multiple swimming pools, a bespoke entertainment theater, and a 7,500-square-meter events center. It will also include a 15,000-square-meter luxury shopping promenade and 22 dining options. This project has been well-received, highlighting Ras Al Khaimah’s potential as a major luxury tourism hub and supporting the UAE’s broader efforts to diversify its economy and tourism offerings.
This transformative project, developed in partnership with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding, showcases Wynn Resorts’ global expansion ambitions. The recent acquisition of a 9.9% stake in the company by billionaire Tilman Fertitta reinforces confidence in Wynn’s growth strategy. As it nears completion, Wynn Al Marjan Island is poised to become a landmark destination, setting new standards for integrated resorts while cementing its role in the UAE’s evolving tourism environment.
