Cult

Cult by Pragmatic Play builds its theme around devotion, influence, and indulgence, as it presents a group led by a charismatic figure whose intentions may not be entirely pure. Ritualistic imagery meets conspicuous luxury, which hints that loyalty comes at a price.

Beneath the surface, the slot pairs this sharp concept with a multiplier-focused structure designed to turn moments of faith into amplified wins.

Gameplay Features and Bonuses

Cult runs on a high-volatility model and carries an RTP of 96.51%. Wins are awarded across 25 fixed paylines, and the top payout reaches up to 10,000x the stake. Bet levels range from €0,25 to €250 per spin, which offers players flexibility for different bankroll sizes.

Scatter Symbol: 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols anywhere on the grid award 10, 15, or 20 Free Spins, respectively. During the bonus, another set of 3, 4, or 5 Scatters grants 10, 15, or 20 additional spins, allowing the feature to retrigger.

Wild Symbol: The Wild substitutes for all regular symbols, and helps complete winning combinations. It does not replace the Scatter.

Multiplier Wild Symbol: Multiplier Wilds substitute for every symbol except the Scatter. Each time such a symbol lands, it carries a random multiplier ranging from 2x up to 100x. Possible values include 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, and 100x.

In case at least 1 win is present on the reels, its value is added to a running total multiplier. This combined multiplier applies to all wins on that spin and resets afterward.

Free Spins Feature: The bonus round is activated by landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters. During Free Spins, the total multiplier does not reset after each spin; instead, it remains active and continues building until the feature ends. Retriggers are possible, which extend the round with extra spins.

Special Bets: Players can activate optional wager modes that alter gameplay.

• Ante Bet requires a 125x bet multiplier and increases the chance of triggering Free Spins by 13x compared to the base game.
• Super Spin requires a 250x bet multiplier and guarantees at least 1 Multiplier Wild on every spin.

Buy Free Spins: The bonus can be purchased directly from the base game.

• A cost of 100x the current total bet triggers Free Spins, with 3, 4, or 5 Scatters guaranteed to appear randomly on the activating spin.
• A 500x total bet purchase unlocks Super Free Spins, where Multiplier Wild symbols have an increased chance to land on each spin. Scatters are also guaranteed to appear randomly on the triggering spin of this upgraded feature.

Design and Soundtrack

Cult unfolds across a 5×4 grid bordered by ornate pale stone columns, set against a tropical backdrop lined with palm trees. In the base game, robed followers stand in subdued tones behind the reels, which reinforces the ritualistic mood.

The 4 lower-paying symbols are red flowers, black credit cards stamped with a gold emblem, stone prayer figures, and glowing purple drinks. At the top end, 4 sharply dressed character portraits dominate the reels. During Free Spins, the background transforms into a sunlit party scene filled with dancers and warmer colors. A large golden total multiplier appears beside the grid, and the cult’s leader stands prominently next to the frame. A steady, pulsing soundtrack runs throughout and heightens the tension.

Suggested titles with a similar mysterious or ritual-driven vibe include Pink Elephants Trinity by Thunderkick and Aura God by Relax Gaming.

The Bottom Line

Cult builds its action around Multiplier Wild symbols that feed a running total multiplier, and gives each winning spin the potential to escalate quickly. Individual multipliers can reach up to 100x, and when several connect, payouts can climb at a pace.

The Free Spins round strengthens the setup by keeping the total multiplier active for the entire feature, which increases the chance of heavier hits. Retriggers, optional special bet modes, and a 10,000x maximum win complete a high-volatility setup centered on escalating multipliers.
