Duck Hunters

Duck Hunters is an online slot developed by Nolimit City. This game unfolds against a vibrant and detailed backdrop that enhances the gaming atmosphere. Furthermore, the slot includes a diverse selection of features designed to boost players' chances of winning and provide both an enjoyable and potentially lucrative gaming experience.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Duck Hunters is an online slot set on a 6-reel, 5-row grid. It features an RTP of 96.05% and combines high volatility with a Scatter Pays system, where players need to land at least 8 identical symbols anywhere on the grid to win.

xWays Symbols – xWays symbols transform into a regular pay symbol and increase the position multiplier by 2x, 4x, or 8x.

Infectious xWays Symbols – Infectious xWays symbols cause all matching symbols on the reel area to expand to the same size. If multiple xWays or Infectious xWays symbols land, they transform into the same symbol.

Bomb Symbol – The Bomb symbol, when it explodes, removes all adjacent regular pay symbols in a 3×3 pattern and doubles the symbol multiplier on affected positions. Bombs explode before the next collapse, with Scatters and Wilds remaining unaffected.

Free Spin Rounds:

Duck Hunt Spins – Triggered by landing 3 Scatter symbols, this mode grants 7 Free Spins with position multipliers held throughout the round. Landing a +1 Shot symbol grants an additional free spin. Before the round begins, one of the following upgrades is randomly awarded:

• Upgraded xWays: xWays symbols are replaced by Infectious xWays.
• Upgraded Bomb: The Bomb removes pay symbols in a 5×5 pattern.
• Extra +2 Shots: A +2 Shots symbol replaces the +1 Shot symbol.

Hawk Eye Spins – Triggered by landing 4 Scatter symbols, this mode grants 8 spins with two random upgrades.

Big Game Spins – Triggered by landing 5 Scatter symbols, this mode grants 10 spins with all 3 upgrades applied.

Extra Spin – At the end of a round, players can buy an additional spin that retains the position multipliers from the previous spin. The cost is based on these multipliers, with Scatters excluded from the extra spin.

Nolimit Boosters:

• xBet: Increases the likelihood of triggering Free Spins by ensuring a Scatter on the second reel for 2x the bet.
• Day 2 Spins: Starts with a x2 initial multiplier for 2.8x the bet.
• Day 64 Spins: Starts with a 64x multiplier for 90x the bet.
• Day 1,024 Spins: Starts with a x1,024 multiplier for 3,000x the bet.

• Hawk Eye Spins for 200x the bet.
• Big Game Spins for 600x the bet.

Design and Soundtrack

Duck Hunters immerses players in a detailed and vibrant environment. The game's setting features a backyard scene adorned with tall trees and lush green bushes framing the grid. Additional elements like tyres, duck toys, axes, and flags contribute to the scene's depth.

The grid itself mimics a backyard fence and displays a variety of symbols, such as beer cans, whiskey bottles, crossbows, egg nests, and ducks equipped with rifles, along with four unique characters. Moreover, the gameplay is enhanced by a perfectly matched soundtrack, elevating the overall gaming experience.

For those seeking similar gaming experiences with comparable gameplay mechanics and settings, Tanked and Munchies, both also by Nolimit City, are excellent alternatives to consider.

The Bottom Line

Duck Hunters stands out with its innovative features, including xWays and Infectious Ways symbols that significantly enhance winning potential by expanding and matching symbols across the grid. In addition, the Bomb symbol adds a dynamic layer by clearing surrounding symbols, creating more win opportunities. Furthermore, the various Free Spin modes, such as Duck Hunt, Hawk Eye, and Big Game Spins, offer players escalating excitement with unique upgrades. Additionally, the Nolimit Bonus Buy option allows direct access to these lucrative features.
