Fugly Pets

Fugly Pets by Stakelogic offers an online slot experience with clear graphics and smooth animations. The gameplay is straightforward and enjoyable, with a soundtrack that fits well with the overall theme. Despite being called ‘ugly' pets, the characters in the game are actually quite endearing, giving the game a pleasant and slightly humorous edge.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Fugly Pets presents a captivating online slot experience set within a 5×5 grid offering 3,125 ways to win. Winning combinations trigger a cascade feature, where symbols from winning paylines disappear, allowing those above to tumble down and potentially forge new wins. The game boasts a standard RTP of 96% and exhibits medium to high volatility.

Multipliers: High-value symbols come with multipliers that increase with each win involving these symbols prior to any cascades. This enhancement applies to each occurrence of these symbols during a win, with multipliers resetting at the start of a new spin or the commencement of the Free Spins feature.

Free Spins: Achieving a series of Bonus Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins feature. Commencing with either 3, 4, or 5 symbols, players are awarded 10, 12, or 15 Free Spins, respectively. Any multiplier obtained remains active for the duration of this round, which can be extended should additional Scatters appear.

Roadkill Symbol: This symbol springs into action once all wins are calculated and no further cascades are possible. It traverses left, interacting with encountered reel symbols to either convert them into Wilds, destroy them, or leave them as is. It exclusively manifests on the far-right fifth reel.

Super Symbol: These oversized reel symbols, spanning 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4, clear the symbols below them, dropping to the bottom of the reel as new symbols fill the spaces above. Despite their larger footprint, they award payouts as if they were separate 1×1 symbols.

Bonus Buy: This feature offers players a shortcut to the Free Spins round. It allows the purchase of 8, 12, 15, or a random choice among these spin amounts at multiples of 100x, 125x, 165x, or 130x the player's bet, respectively.

Design and Soundtrack

Fugly Pets unfolds in a perplexing setting that blurs the lines between a bustling sidewalk dotted with shops and the interior of the shop itself. Despite the lack of clarity, the game's high-quality graphics and lively animations enrich the background, creating a dynamic atmosphere. The paytable features classic 10 to A card symbols alongside five unique animal icons. The fitting soundtrack enhances the gaming atmosphere.

For those captivated by this theme, Piranha Pays by Stakelogic offers a darker twist with similar gameplay dynamics.

The Bottom Line

Fugly Pets by Stakelogic successfully combines engaging features with charming graphics and animations. With its 5×5 grid and 3,125 paylines, players are offered ample opportunities for wins. The game's innovative bonuses, including Symbol Multipliers, Free Spins, and the unique Roadkill and Super Symbols, enhance the gameplay significantly. While the theme humorously plays on the notion of ‘ugly' pets, it delivers an experience where these characters are anything but. Fugly Pets stands out as a well-crafted slot that promises both entertainment and potential rewards.
