Ryze

Ryze is an online slot developed by ELK Studios that immerses players in a vibrant and captivating gaming environment. The game opens with an intriguing introduction before transitioning to a setting filled with gold and coins, creating an enticing atmosphere. Moreover, the slot’s features increase chances for substantial wins, making the gameplay more thrilling and rewarding. With the potential for big payouts, players can build their wealth just like the piles of coins in the background.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Ryze is an online slot set on an intriguing 6-reel grid, with alternating 6 and 5 rows. The game, however, has a slightly lower-than-average RTP of 94%. It features high volatility and uses a Cluster Pays system, where a winning cluster is formed by 5 or more identical symbols connected either vertically or horizontally.

Multiplier Wild Symbol – A winning cluster made up entirely of payout symbols, excluding coins, creates a x1 Multiplier Wild in one of the vacant positions left after a win. This Multiplier Wild increases its multiplier by 1 for each winning cluster it participates in and moves to a new vacant position.

Additionally, if multiple Multiplier Wilds are part of the same cluster, their multiplier values are combined, and the total is applied to the winning cluster. After the win, each individual Multiplier Wild’s value is increased before they merge into a new Multiplier Wild.

Coin Symbols – Coin symbols display a value that represents a bet multiplier. When a cluster of coins forms a win, it pays out the total combined value of the cluster. This amount is then assigned to a new coin symbol left behind when the cluster is removed. Furthermore, if a winning coin cluster includes any Multiplier Wilds, their combined multiplier values are added together and applied to the cluster’s total value.

Burst and Avalanche Features – The Burst symbol transforms itself and all adjacent symbols into the same payout symbol or coin. All symbols involved in winning combinations then explode, leaving space for additional symbols to drop. The Avalanche feature continues as long as new winning combinations are formed.

Bonus Game – When a Bonus symbol reaches the bonus key mould beneath the game grid, it triggers the Bonus Game with 7 Free Spins. During this feature, Multiplier Wilds become sticky and remain in place throughout the bonus round.

Super Bonus Game – When a Bonus symbol lands on a position with a super bonus key mould below the game grid, it activates the Super Bonus Game, also awarding 7 Free Spins. In the Super Bonus Game, both Coins and Multiplier Wilds are sticky, staying in place for the duration of the feature.

X-iter – Players can buy their way into specific rewarding game rounds at different price points. The available options include:

• Bonus Hunt: For 2x the bet, players have over triple the chance to trigger the Bonus and Super Bonus Games.
• Wild Concoction: For 10x the bet, players start with a set number of Multiplier Wilds. The Bonus and Super Bonus Games will also begin with a number of Multiplier Wilds already in place.
• Coin Burst: For 25x the bet, players are guaranteed to land a Burst symbol on the first drop. Burst symbols will always convert into Coin symbols.
• Bonus Game: For 100x the bet, players are guaranteed entry into the Bonus Game.
• Super Bonus Game: For 500x the bet, players are guaranteed entry into the Super Bonus Game.

Design and Soundtrack

Ryze is an online slot that draws players into a mythical world. Even before the game begins, players are greeted with a short introduction featuring an ancient book filled with mysterious writings and drawings. The game is set against the backdrop of an old castle, overflowing with piles of gold scattered everywhere. In addition, a dragon character, resting on the left side of the grid, guards bags of gold coins.

Moreover, the grid itself showcases symbols like bronze and silver coins, along with various colored crystals. To enhance the atmosphere, the game’s soundtrack perfectly complements the overall theme, making the experience even more captivating.

For players seeking similar themes and features, Dragons Playground by NetEnt and Dragon’s Domain by Hacksaw Gaming are excellent alternatives worth exploring.
