The Conqueror

The Conqueror is an online slot game by Pragmatic Play set against a picturesque seaside backdrop. This game draws players into a world of maritime conquest with a beautifully designed grid and thematic elements that evoke a sense of grandeur and adventure.

Gameplay features and bonuses

The Conqueror is an online slot game developed by Pragmatic Play, set on a 6×6 grid. This game employs a Scatter Pays mechanic, where initially, the top row is blocked off and gradually unlocks as players land winning combinations. The game boasts an RTP of 96.07% and is noted for its high volatility.

Tumble Feature: The game features the engaging tumble mechanic, where winning symbols disappear, allowing new symbols to fall into the vacant spaces. This mechanic not only enhances the potential for consecutive wins but also plays a crucial role in unlocking the additional top row. The unlocking progresses with each tumble; the first tumble opens the leftmost position, and every third tumble continues to unlock subsequent positions, fully opening all 6 spots by the fifteenth tumble.

Multipliers: Unique to this game are the multiplier symbols, resembling gems encased in gold. These multipliers are tallied at the end of a tumbling sequence, amplifying the total win. They range in value from 2x up to 500x, though they do not contribute directly to individual wins.

Free Spins: Triggering the Free Spins feature requires landing 4 Scatters, awarding players with 10 initial spins. During this round, the gameplay mirrors the base game with the addition that unlocked positions remain so for the entirety of the round. Moreover, any multipliers landed are added to a cumulative total, which then multiplies any wins from subsequent spins. If players land 3 or more Scatters during this round, they receive an additional 5 Free Spins.

Ante Bet: By increasing their bet by 50%, players can enhance their chances of hitting Scatters, thus boosting the likelihood of triggering the Free Spins feature. This adjustment increases the RTP to 96.08%.

Buy Free Spins: Players have the option to purchase direct entry into the Free Spins round for 100 times their current stake, which also adjusts the RTP to 96.08%.

Design and Soundtrack

The Conqueror unfolds on a vivid seaside backdrop with a richly adorned grid and a figure on horseback, showcasing Arabic-inspired attire. The atmosphere is animated with waves and gently rocking boats, reinforcing the maritime theme. Symbols such as guard towers, cannons, ships, and gems enrich the setting. Complementing this setting, the soundtrack subtly enhances the experience, adding to the overall sense of adventure and conquest with each spin.

Players seeking an equally epic game with straightforward gameplay might enjoy Chase of Glory by Pragmatic Play. This game offers a different kind of conquest, placing players amid a colosseum battle.

The Bottom Line

The Conqueror offers a solid gameplay experience with its innovative features. The Scatter Pays mechanic, alongside the unique tumble feature, provides steady action and opportunities for successive wins. Multiplier gems and an engaging Free Spins round add to the game's appeal, while the high volatility and respectable RTP cater to those seeking excitement and potential rewards. Pragmatic Play’s The Conqueror is a worthwhile option for players interested in a dynamic slot game with a strong thematic element.
