King Kong Cash DJ Prime8

King Kong Cash DJ Prime8 JK, developed by Blueprint Gaming, presents a vibrant jungle setting with a unique twist: King Kong as the DJ. The slot combines colorful graphics and a lively soundtrack to create an immersive atmosphere. Players can enjoy the playful charm of themed animal symbols as they spin the reels in this engaging online game.

Gameplay features and bonuses

King Kong Cash DJ Prime8 is an engaging online jackpot slot game developed by Blueprint Gaming, featuring a 6×4 grid with 4,096 paylines. The game offers medium-high volatility and a relatively low RTP of 91.50%.

Cash Collect: This slot game utilises a vibrant primate and bananas theme. In this setup, bananas are represented as cash symbols, and King Kong acts as the Cash Collect symbol. The mechanic is straightforward: Cash Collect symbols gather the values from banana cash prize symbols. The Kong Collect symbol appears exclusively on reels 1 and 6. The game includes three distinct Cash Collect symbols, allowing up to two to appear on any spin.

• Hit The Decks: This feature collects all visible symbols.
• Up The Bass: Cash values initiating this feature are locked in place for a Respin, continuing until no new cash symbols appear.
• Golden Monkey: Should a Golden Monkey symbol be present when symbols collect cash prizes, it aggregates the values of all cash symbols currently in play. Then the accumulated prize is collected too.

DJ Prime8 Bonus: Players can choose between two Free Spins rounds upon landing three or more Scatters.

Pump It Up: In the Pump It Up mode, players start with 10 Free Spins. This round includes a collect meter that keeps the usual gameplay but adds extra multipliers for collecting Kong Collect symbols:

• 3 Kong Collect symbols: Grants 5 Free Spins and a x2 multiplier on all Cash Banana symbols collected.
• 6 Kong Collect symbols: Grants 5 more Free Spins and a x3 multiplier on collected Cash Banana symbols.
• 9 Kong Collect symbols: Grants another 5 Free Spins and a x5 multiplier, increasing the value of each collected Cash Banana symbol.
• 12 Kong Collect symbols: Grants 5 additional Free Spins and a x10 multiplier, greatly enhancing the payouts from Cash Banana symbols.

Mixmaster Free Spins: The Mixmaster Free Spins round kicks off with 8 Free Spins, significantly altering the gameplay by removing the Golden Monkey and standard Collect symbols. Instead, special Kong symbols are introduced; each equipped with a medallion, these symbols contribute to a symbol trail adjacent to the reels. Successfully filling the 10-stage trail upgrades the Kong symbols to higher-paying versions, enhancing the payout potential.

This round extends as players collect more Scatter symbols. For each set of Scatters—two, three, four, five, or six—players receive 3, 6, 8, 10, or 12 additional Free Spins, respectively. This feature allows for prolonged play, enhancing the chance to boost rewards.

Jackpots: The game provides two jackpot prizes, the Regal and Royal Pot, offering up to 5,000x and 500x the base bet of €1, respectively, awarded randomly during gameplay.

Design and Soundtrack

King Kong Cash DJ Prime8 creates a concert-like environment framed by speakers set against a jungle backdrop. Although it suggests that King Kong himself is the DJ, his absence on-screen is a letdown. The game's vibrant paytable includes card symbols from 9 to A and animal icons like a crocodile, parrot, tiger, and rhino, all adorned with glasses, along with the standout golden monkey symbol. The soundtrack is lively and fits the theme well, though the overall design could have been more thoroughly developed.

For players interested in concert-themed slots, DJ Cat by Push Gaming offers an innovative gameplay experience that truly captures the essence of a musical event. Alternatively, 80sPop by AvatarUX provides a nostalgic dive into retro vibes, with both games delivering more cohesive design and gameplay elements.

The Bottom Line

King Kong Cash DJ Prime8 offers a solid range of features that keep the gameplay interesting. The Cash Collect mechanic and varied Free Spins rounds provide ample opportunities for engagement. Although the design could be more polished, the game's medium-high volatility and interactive bonus features make it an appealing choice for players seeking a slot game with consistent action and reasonable payout potential.
