Ouija

Ouija is a Red Tiger Gaming slot named after the spirit board often linked to séances and attempts to contact the dead. The eerie premise suits players who prefer darker, supernatural themes, and the game supports it with its own set of features meant to create more winning possibilities and make sessions more rewarding and enjoyable.

Gameplay Features and Bonuses

Ouija keeps its format simple, with a standard 5×3 grid and 10 paylines. The RTP of 95.08% falls below the industry average, volatility is high, and the maximum win is 2,830x the total bet. Instead of a long list of separate features, the game uses one bonus that can progress through three stages.

Free Spins Stages: Each stage lasts 7 spins and offers a chance to move up to the next one on its final spin. Reaching all three gives a maximum of 21 spins in total.

Stage One: Free Spins

The bonus starts in the base game when 3 Free Spins symbols land on reels 1, 3, and 5. This awards 7 Free Spins, and Wilds can appear during the round. The 7th spin carries a chance to trigger the next stage.

Stage Two: Win Spins

If 3 Win Spins symbols land on reels 1, 3, and 5 during the last Free Spin, the round upgrades to 7 Win Spins. Wilds can still appear, but the main difference is that every spin in this stage is guaranteed to produce a win. The 7th Win Spin offers another chance to move up.

Stage Three: Wild Spins

The final stage is reached when 3 Wild Spins symbols land on reels 1, 3, and 5 during the last Win Spin. It awards 7 Wild Spins in which every spin is again a guaranteed win. Any Wild that lands here locks in place until the bonus ends, so later spins can build on Wilds from earlier ones.

Retrigger: The upgrades come from a retrigger chance that appears on every 7th spin of the bonus. A successful retrigger adds 7 spins and moves the round into the next mode, up to a total of 21 spins. Each mode improves on the previous one, which is how the bonus works toward its larger potential wins.

Feature Buy: Players can skip the base game by buying the bonus for 100x the bet. The purchase guarantees 3 Free Spins scatters and starts the round at the first stage.

Design and Soundtrack

A Ouija board serves as the grid, laid out on a wooden table and surrounded by lit candles, so the board stays at the center of attention much as it would during a séance. Its symbols carry the same mystical, spiritual tone. Alongside the 10-A figures, players will find ancient deities, hamsas, suns, and moons with stars. A soundtrack built around the candlelit setting rounds out the design and adds to its eerie mood.

Lady of Fortune Remastered by Play'n GO and Mystic Spells by Fantasma Games share a similar mystical setting and comparable gameplay features for players who want alternatives.

The Bottom Line

Most of what Ouija can pay depends on how far its bonus progresses. The first stage offers ordinary free spins, whereas Win Spins guarantee a win on every spin and Wild Spins add locking Wilds to that guarantee, which places the real value in the later stages. Getting there, however, relies on a retrigger chance at the end of each 7-spin set, so one bonus can turn out very differently from the next. That uncertainty also limits the appeal of the 100x Feature Buy, since it only secures entry to the first stage. On top of this, the 95.08% RTP and 2,830x maximum win are modest for a high-volatility game.
