Haunted Reels

Halloween enthusiasts are invited to delve into one of BGaming's offerings, Haunted Reels. This online slot immerses players in the spooky setting of a haunted house, creating a captivating gaming environment. Moreover, the wide array of features, coupled with an extensive number of paylines, enhances the chances of securing substantial wins, making the experience even more rewarding.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Haunted Reels unfolds on a 5-reel, 5-row grid and boasts an impressive RTP of 97%, combining medium to high volatility. The game offers 3,125 paylines, providing numerous opportunities to score wins.

Wild Symbols – In the game, they come with random multipliers of 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x when they land. They can substitute for any symbols except for Scatters, helping to complete winning combinations in the base game.

Free Spins – To trigger this feature, players must land 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols, rewarding them with 5, 7, or 10 Free Spins, respectively. At the onset of the bonus round, the game randomly selects a symbol to pay. A pop-up then appears, displaying the number of spins, the chosen symbol, the colour of the bonus game, and details about multipliers.

As the reels stop, Coffin symbols randomly reveal their contents, which could be additional Free Spins, a multiplier, or the selected round symbol that becomes sticky. Some Coffins may be empty. Collecting more of the paying symbols increases the potential final win.

Bonus Game Multipliers – During the bonus round, any revealed multipliers are added to a panel at the bottom of the reels. If players collect 5 multipliers, they are absorbed by a Skeleton, who then randomly disperses them onto the playing field before the final payout is calculated, thereby increasing the potential winning total.

Buy Bonus – Players have the option to purchase one of three bonus game versions, each priced according to the bet size.

• Green Game: Features low volatility.
• Red Game: Features medium volatility with only high symbols.
• Purple Game: Features very high volatility with only high symbols.

In both the Green and Red games, if 5 multipliers are collected, they are randomly assigned to the reels at the end of the game. In the Purple game, the multipliers are assigned twice, effectively placing 10 multipliers on the reels, doubling the potential for increased wins.

Design and Soundtrack

Haunted Reels is a spine-chilling online slot, ideal for fans of Halloween-themed gaming environments. The game unfolds against the backdrop of a haunted house's yard, with the eerie structure visible on one side, and dark, fog-enshrouded trees surrounding the area. Enhancing the spooky aesthetic are details like carved pumpkins and a looming skeleton. Additionally, the grid is filled with thematic symbols including candles, candy, potions, spiders, bats, and skeletons. Complementing the eerie setting is a soundtrack that perfectly enhances the gaming experience.

For players who enjoy such eerie gaming experiences, Boo by Big Time Gaming and Infective Wild by Pragmatic Play are excellent choices worth exploring.

Its generous paylines promise frequent payouts, while the variable volatility levels across different bonus games allow players to choose their risk. Additionally, the thematic Wilds with multipliers and multiple Free Spins options enhance playability and winning potential. Moreover, the Bonus Game Multipliers and the Buy Bonus options add layers of strategic depth to the gameplay.
