Rabid Randy Gone Fishing

NetEnt expands its Rapid Randy series with the online slot Rabid Randy Gone Fishing. Designed for players who enjoy fishing-themed environments, the game introduces several unique features intended to boost winning potential and deliver more rewarding, entertaining gameplay.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Rabid Randy Gone Fishing is built on a 5-reel grid with 25 paylines. It offers an RTP rate of 96.03% and medium volatility.

Walking Wild Respins

The Hook Wild symbol appears only on reel 1 and triggers the Walking Wild Respins feature after wins are evaluated. During this feature, the Hook Wild shifts down one position with each spin until it exits the grid, ending the feature. If Free Spins or the Jackpot Game is triggered during Respins, the Respins pause and resume afterwards.

Wild Features

When a different Wild lands on the same row as the Hook Wild, one of three Wild features is activated:

• Horizontal Wild: Fills all horizontal positions between the Hook Wild and the triggering Wild with Horizontal Wilds. This Wild can appear on reels 3 and 4 in the base game, and on reels 3, 4, and 5 during Free Spins.
• Vertical Wild: Fills the entire reel where it lands with Vertical Wilds. This type may appear on reels 2 through 5.
• Random Wild: Adds 2 Random Wilds to the grid after all other features have been processed. This symbol can also appear on reels 2 through 5.

All features are activated from the leftmost reel to the right, except the Random Wild, which always activates last. Wild symbols substitute for all others except Scatter, Cash Prize, Jackpot, Chest, or other Wilds, though Random, Vertical, and Horizontal Wilds can substitute for one another in a winning line. Only the highest win on each line is paid.

Cash Prize Feature

Cash Prizes may appear on reels 2, 3, and 4 in both the base game and Free Spins. When a Cash Prize lands on the same row as a Hook Wild, it reveals a random payout of 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 5x, 10x, or 15x the total bet. These are added to any other wins from that spin.

Chest Feature

Chests appear only on reel 5. When a Chest lands on the same row as a Hook Wild, it activates a feature that randomly awards Free Spins, the Jackpot Game, or a Cash Prize of 10x, 15x, 25x, 50x, or 100x the bet.

Free Spins

Scatters land only on reel 5. In the base game, when a Scatter appears on the same row as a Hook Wild, it triggers 7 Free Spins. During Free Spins, if another Scatter appears or is awarded via a Chest, 3 additional Free Spins are granted. The Hook Wild expands to fill the entire leftmost reel throughout the Free Spins round. If the Jackpot Game is triggered during Free Spins, the round pauses and resumes afterwards.

Jackpot Game

The Jackpot symbol appears only on reel 5 and can activate the Jackpot Game when landing on the same row as a Hook Wild. The round begins by tapping “Tap to Fish!” and awards 3 to 5 Cash Prizes worth 0.25x to 2,500x the bet. The game ends with either a Jackpot win or a standard game conclusion. There are five progressive Jackpots:

• Mini: 0.4% of each bet is contributed, with no carryover. Starts at €5.
• Midi: 0.45% contributed; 11.11% reserved. Starts at €50.
• Mega: 0.6% contributed; 16.67% reserved. Starts at €250.
• Super: 2% contributed; 25% reserved. Starts at €1,000.
• Giga: 4% contributed; 25% reserved. Starts at €10,000.

Progressive values have no upper limit. Each Jackpot’s current amount is displayed next to its name. Only one Jackpot can be won per game, and the chance of hitting one increases with the bet size.

Elevate Feature

Players can optionally activate one of the following:

• Hooked Spins: For an undefined multiplier of the bet, 1 Hook Wild is guaranteed to appear on every spin.
• Jackpot Fishing: For an undefined cost, one round of the Jackpot Game starts immediately, guaranteeing 1 Cash Prize and a chance to win a Jackpot.
• Free Spins: For 15x the bet, one round of Free Spins is triggered instantly, also guaranteeing one Cash Prize and a shot at a Jackpot.

Design and Soundtrack

Rabid Randy Gone Fishing is set in a vibrant, fishing-themed environment. The background showcases a green lake with floating aquatic plants, surrounded by dense trees. A wooden dock and a nearby boat add detail to the scene, creating a more immersive setting. The game is further enhanced by a fitting soundtrack that complements the theme.
