Witchcraft Riches

Magic sits at the center of Witchcraft Riches, an online slot from BGaming designed for players who enjoy spellcasting themes. Several special symbols and features support the gameplay, each aimed at increasing winning opportunities and making sessions more rewarding.

Gameplay Features and Bonuses

Witchcraft Riches uses a 6×5 grid with a Scatter Pays system, so any 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid form a win. The game has an RTP of 96.68% and high volatility, with a maximum win of 5,000x the bet. Its feature set is relatively compact, and most of the winning potential depends on how the multiplier potions behave in the base game compared with the bonus round.

Tumble Feature: Winning symbols are paid and then removed after each spin. The symbols left on the grid fall to the bottom, new ones drop in from above, and the tumbles continue until no further winning combinations form.

Multiplier Potions: The multipliers appear as potion bottles in green, red, purple, and blue. They are present on all reels and can land at random during spins and tumbles in the base game and Free Spins. Each potion takes a random value of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, or 500x.

In the base game, the potions only matter at the end of a tumbling sequence. The values of all potions on the grid are added together at that point, and the total win of the sequence is multiplied by the combined figure.

Scatter Symbol: The Scatter symbol can land on any reel and pays in any position. Its main role is to unlock the bonus round, which starts once 4 or more Scatters appear on the grid.

Free Spins: Landing 4, 5, or 6 Scatters awards the same 15 Free Spins, played at the bet of the triggering spin. The round changes how the potions work, since their values no longer disappear after each sequence.

Every potion that lands in a winning spin adds its value to a total multiplier, and that total applies to every subsequent win involving a new potion until the round ends. Landing 3 or more Scatters during the round adds 5 more Free Spins.

Bonus Buy: Players can purchase the Free Spins round directly for 100x the bet.

Chance x2: This option is the alternative for those who prefer to trigger the round naturally, as it doubles the probability of landing the bonus in exchange for raising the cost of each spin to 1.25x the bet. The Buy Free Spins option is disabled for as long as Chance x2 is active.

Design and Soundtrack

A witch working on a new potion takes the spotlight in Witchcraft Riches, set against a forest at night. Treasure chests, crystals, and magic potions are scattered around her, which ties the backdrop closely to the spellcasting theme. The grid continues in the same style, with classic 10-A figures made out of bones appearing next to spiders, mushrooms, witch brooms, and potions. An accompanying soundtrack suits the mood of the forest and rounds out the design.

Any Witch Way by Blueprint Gaming and Magic Lab by NetEnt make good alternatives, as they offer comparable settings and gameplay features.

The Bottom Line

The gap between the base game and Free Spins defines Witchcraft Riches. Potions of up to 500x reset after every tumbling sequence in regular play, whereas the bonus round keeps adding their values to a total multiplier that grows with each winning potion. This makes the 15 Free Spins the main source of larger payouts, which suits the high volatility and 5,000x maximum win. The 96.68% RTP is solid, and the 100x buy price or the 1.25x Chance x2 bet gives players two clear routes to the bonus.
