Always Up!

Always Up! is an online slot from BGaming, designed for players who enjoy gaming environments inspired by Chinese culture. It also includes a bonus feature that can boost winning chances, offering the potential for more rewarding and entertaining sessions.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Always Up! is played on a 3×3 grid with 5 paylines. The slot has an RTP of 95.07%, which is below the industry average, and it is set at a medium volatility level.

Bonus Game: Landing 3 Bonus symbols on reels 1, 2, and 3 activates the feature. When triggered, 5 rockets appear on the screen. Players pick one rocket and click the START button to launch it.

Each rocket carries a multiplier that increases as it climbs higher into the sky before exploding into fireworks at a random point. The multiplier attached to the chosen rocket is then applied to the bet. The Bonus round can award up to 499x the stake.

Buy Bonus: For those who prefer to skip the base game, the Bonus Game can be purchased directly for 80x the current bet.

Design and Soundtrack

Always Up! places players in a setting inspired by Chinese culture. The backdrop shows a peaceful landscape with trees, flowers, and plants surrounding a crystal-clear lake. A smiling dragon character stands beside the grid, adding a playful touch.

The grid itself is designed to resemble a temple and is filled with thematic symbols, including Chinese characters, firecrackers in green, pink, and red, lotus flowers, gold coin amulets, sycees, and coin-filled money bags. Additionally, the atmosphere is completed by a fitting soundtrack that ties in seamlessly with the game’s design.

For those who enjoy similar themes, Triple Pot Gold by Pragmatic Play and Sakura Riches 60 by BGaming offer comparable experiences.

The Bottom Line

Always Up! delivers a compact 3×3 setup with 5 paylines, medium volatility, and an RTP of 95.07%. Its standout element is the Bonus Game, where rockets carrying multipliers determine potential wins of up to 499x the stake. Players can also opt for the Buy Bonus feature to enter the round instantly for 80x their bet. The slot’s thematic symbols, immersive visuals, and fitting soundtrack offer an engaging mix of design and potentially rewarding mechanics.
