Bullion Xpress

Bullion Xpress is an online slot developed by Play’N GO. The game is set against a Western backdrop, following the journey of a train. Additionally, it includes unique features designed to increase winning potential and create a more engaging, rewarding playing experience.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Bullion Xpress is played on a 6×3 grid. The game offers 10 paylines, and it pairs a 96.29% RTP with high volatility.

M-Counter: Any symbol, apart from the Bonus symbol, can appear with a multiplier ranging from 2x to 25x. These multipliers are stored in the M-Counter before payouts are calculated. The combined multiplier value is then applied to all wins from that spin. After each round, the M-Counter resets.

Fortune Frenzy: A moving train runs along the top of the reels. On spins that do not produce a win, there is a chance to activate this feature. When triggered, the train halts, and the conductor grants the total of four railcar values from the train.

Bronze railcars are valued between 1x and 4x, Silver between 5x and 8x, Gold between 9x and 12x, and Mystery between 4x and 10x. If multipliers have been collected in the M-Counter during that same spin, the Fortune Frenzy payout is multiplied by the M-Counter’s total.

Bonus Blitz: Bonus symbols appear on all reels except the first and last. Landing 3 or more activates the Bonus Blitz feature. This round takes place on an 8-reel, 2-row grid, awarding 3 Respins for 3 Bonus symbols and 4 Respins for 4. During play, the train moves left to right along the top row, while the row beneath shifts right to left, with both rows stopping after each spin.

The objective is to position multipliers beneath the railcars. When this happens, the multiplier boosts the value of the railcar directly above it, creating bullions that are collected. Only railcars with multipliers beneath them pay out.

Bronze railcars are worth between 1x and 4x, Silver between 5x and 8x, Gold between 12x and 18x, and Mystery between 4x and 16x. If a multiplier lands below a Respin railcar, extra Respins are awarded equal to the multiplier’s value. Bonus Blitz multipliers can be 1x, 2x, 3x, or 5x, and the total number of Respins is capped at 20.

Design and Soundtrack

Bullion Xpress places players in a Western-themed setting, with a canyon at sunset serving as the backdrop. A train passes through the scene, accompanied by details like scattered houses, cacti, and piles of gold coins. In addition, the grid features a mix of symbols, including clubs, diamonds, spades, hearts, and stars styled like playing cards, along with thematic icons such as rings, pocket watches, purses, gold bars, and safes. Furthermore, an accompanying soundtrack ties the visuals together, complementing the overall design.

For those interested in similar themes and gameplay elements, Majestic Express Gold Run from Pragmatic Play and Sticky Bandits Thunder Rail by Quickspin are great alternatives.

The Bottom Line

Bullion Xpress offers a mix of mechanics, with its M-Counter multipliers boosting wins, Fortune Frenzy delivering instant rewards, and Bonus Blitz Respins. Additionally, the variety of railcar values, combined with the chance to stack multipliers, increases win potential.
