Cocks & Robbers

A farmyard setting with a gangster-heist twist gives Cocks & Robbers, an online slot from Red Tiger Gaming, a theme that stands apart from typical farm-inspired games. Beyond the concept, the game offers special symbols and bonus features that aim to increase winning opportunities and make each session more rewarding.

Gameplay Features and Bonuses

Cocks & Robbers runs on a 6×3 grid with 729 paylines, and it has an RTP of 96.20% and medium volatility. The maximum win reaches 11,454x the total bet. The two robbers above the grid drive most of the action, since each one appears as a Wild symbol that collects specific farm animals and turns them into instant prizes.

Wild Fox: The Wild Fox substitutes for all paying symbols and can land only on reels 2, 3, 4, or 5. When it appears, it collects every Duck and Turkey symbol on the grid and pays an instant prize once 5 or more have been gathered.

The prize grows with the number of collected symbols, and the possible values are 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 30x, 50x, 75x, 100x, 300x, 1,000x, and 3,000x the bet. If a Wild Wolf lands on the same spin, the Fox receives 3 extra Duck and Turkey symbols toward its total.

Wild Wolf: The Wild Wolf also lands only on reels 2 to 5, but it expands to fill its entire reel and collects Pig and Lamb symbols instead. Any spin with a win while the Wolf is present awards a Respin, and before each Respin the Wolf moves one reel to the left. On reel 2 it jumps back to reel 5 rather than leaving the grid.

The Respins continue for as long as wins keep forming. Once a spin produces no win, the feature ends, the collection counter resets, and the Wolf pays its prize if 5 or more Pig and Lamb symbols have been collected.

The prize scale starts at 10x and climbs through 15x, 20x, 30x, 40x, 50x, 60x, 70x, 80x, 90x, 100x, 120x, 150x, 200x, 250x, 300x, 350x, 400x, 450x, 500x, 600x, 1,000x, 2,000x, 3,000x, and 5,000x, with 10,000x the bet at the top.

Full House: Full House can activate on any spin and adds a random number of identical symbols to the reels. The chosen symbol is always one of the four animals the robbers collect, namely Pigs, Lambs, Ducks, or Turkeys, which means the feature works as a direct boost to the Fox and Wolf prizes.

Barn Spins: Landing 3 Scatter symbols awards 10 Barn Spins. A Wild Fox is guaranteed to land on reels 2, 3, 4, or 5 on every spin, and each Scatter that lands during the round adds 1 more spin. Landing 3 Scatters in Barn Spins upgrades all remaining spins to Super Spins.

The Wild Wolf behaves differently in this round. A win no longer triggers a respin, and the Wolf stays on the grid between spins instead. It pays out its collected Pig and Lamb symbols on the first spin that produces no win, or on the final spin of the round, and then disappears on the following spin.

Super Spins: Landing 4 Scatters leads straight to 10 Super Spins, the stronger of the two bonus rounds. A Wild Fox lands on every spin, and a Wild Wolf is also guaranteed whenever no Wolf is already on the grid. The Wolf follows the same hold-and-pay rules as in Barn Spins. Scatters cannot land in this round, so the number of spins stays at 10.

Feature Buy: Four options can be purchased directly from the Feature Buy menu.

• Wild Fox Mania: 1 spin with a guaranteed Wild Fox for 3x the bet.
• Wild Wolf Mania: 1 spin with a guaranteed Wild Wolf for 10x the bet.
• Barn Spins: 3 guaranteed Scatters for 10 Barn Spins for 50x the bet.
• Super Spins: 4 guaranteed Scatters for 10 Super Spins for 320x the bet.

Design and Soundtrack

A fox and a wolf, dressed as robbers, stand above the grid in Cocks & Robbers, and the grid itself is framed as a farmhouse cottage. Behind it, a small town at night sets the heist mood, with rows of little houses carrying signs that show what can be found inside each one. The farm animals on the reels are drawn as individual characters, and the lineup includes chickens, ducks, sheep, pigs, and bulls, alongside 10-A figures, carved from wood, which make up the rest of the symbols. The accompanying soundtrack supports the playful heist tone.

Piggy Heist by Play'n GO and 4 FOXX Crew by Yggdrasil Gaming are suitable alternatives for players interested in comparable settings and gameplay features.

The Bottom Line

Cocks & Robbers rests on two collectors with different strengths. The Wild Fox pays out quickly but tops out at 3,000x, whereas the Wild Wolf needs a run of winning Respins to build its collection, with a top prize of 10,000x the bet. Full House feeds both by filling the reels with their target animals. Super Spins offer the best conditions, with a Fox on every spin and a Wolf whenever none is present, and the medium volatility and 96.20% RTP keep the overall risk moderate.
