Gates of Olympus 2500

Gates of Olympus 2500 takes Pragmatic Play's famous Zeus series in a more ambitious direction. Instead of relying on a simple multiplier increase, this sequel expands the established formula through new bonus variants, special bet options, and multiplier mechanics. It stays true to the identity of its predecessors yet gives returning players several new ideas to explore.

Gameplay Features and Bonuses

Gates of Olympus 2500 uses a 6×5 grid with a Scatter Pay system, so wins can form anywhere on the reels. The slot has high volatility and an RTP of 96.52%. Bets range from €0.20 to €240 per spin, and the maximum possible reward reaches 25,000x the stake.

Scatter Symbol: The Scatter can appear on every reel and pays from any position. 4 or more Scatters anywhere on the grid activate the Free Spins feature with 15 spins. During any Free Spins version, 3 or more Scatters award 5 additional spins.

Multiplier Symbols: These special symbols can land on any reel in the base game or Free Spins. Each carries a random value from 2x up to 2,500x. Once a tumble sequence ends, all Multiplier Symbols visible on the grid add together, and that combined value multiplies the total payout from the sequence. Available values include: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x, 1,000x, 1,500x, 2,000x, and 2,500x.

Free Spins: 4 or more Scatters award 15 Free Spins. Before the feature starts, the game randomly chooses 1 of 4 versions.

Free Spins 1 uses a total multiplier for the current tumble sequence, whereas Free Spins 2 retains the accumulated multiplier for the full bonus. Super Free Spins 1 and 2 follow their respective versions but set the minimum Multiplier Symbol at 10x.

Special Bets: Players can choose alternative bet modes that alter the probability of Free Spins or guarantee Multiplier Symbols. The available options are:

• Ante Bet 1: 25x bet multiplier and twice the natural Free Spins chance.

• Ante Bet 2: 55x and eight times the natural Free Spins chance.
• Ante Bet 3: 110x, an eightfold Free Spins chance, plus better odds for Free Spins 2 and the Super variants.
• Super Spin 1: 400x and at least 1 random Multiplier Symbol on every spin.
• Super Spin 2: 5,000x and at least 1 Multiplier Symbol worth 25x or more on every spin.

Buy Feature: Direct access to each bonus version is available from the base game. Free Spins 1 costs 100x the total bet, Free Spins 2 costs 250x, Super Free Spins 1 costs 500x, and Super Free Spins 2 costs 1,250x.

Design and Soundtrack

Gates of Olympus 2500 retains the series' Greek mythology theme, set high above the clouds amid marble columns and gold-trimmed architecture. Zeus stands beside the reels with his lightning bolt, while the purple reel area gives the colorful figures a clear backdrop.

The paytable features 5 bright gemstones alongside more ornate crowns, hourglasses, rings, and golden cups. Gold accents dominate the interface and reinforce the divine setting without straying far from the original visual identity. The soundtrack complements the grand theme with dramatic, energetic music and effects that intensify during feature sequences.

Fans of the mythological theme can also try Gates of Power by BGaming or Epic Ze Zeus by Hacksaw Gaming, 2 slots that pair ancient Greek settings with multiplier-focused gameplay and bonus features.

The Bottom Line

Gates of Olympus 2500 earns its place as a feature-rich sequel, with 4 Free Spins variants at the center of its gameplay. Persistent multipliers give the second bonus type greater potential, whereas Super versions start Multiplier Symbols at 10x or above.

Tumbles, values up to 2,500x, Special Bets, and 4 direct bonus purchases add further depth. High costs for the strongest options are a drawback, but the 25,000x maximum win and varied bonus mechanics make this a strong entry in the series.
