Gates of Olympus Pachi

Pragmatic Play presents Gates of Olympus Pachi, a captivating addition to its Gates of Olympus series. This online slot is ideal for players drawn to settings inspired by Greek mythology. The game offers a variety of features that enhance the potential for significant wins, whether through fortunate gameplay or by utilising the direct purchase option to trigger special modes.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Gates of Olympus Pachi is an online slot set on a 3×3 grid. It features an RTP of 96.04% and combines high volatility with 27 paylines.

Scatter Respin Feature – This feature activates when a Scatter symbol appears in the center of the grid without accompanying Scatters on other reels. The reels featuring Scatters lock in place, while others respin. If another Scatter appears after the Respin, it locks, and the remaining reel respins. The feature concludes when 3 Scatters appear, triggering the Free Spins.

Free Spins – Landing 3 Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins round, preceded by a Respin Mini Game to determine the number of spins. In this game, symbols either show a random number of spins or are blank. Free Spins symbols lock in place until the game ends, with values ranging from 1 to 16.

The round begins with 3 Respins and resets with each additional Free Spins symbol. It concludes when Respins run out or the grid fills with Free Spins symbols. At the end, the total number of spins displayed is awarded for use in the Free Spins round. During this round, symbols stack on the reels, and every spin guarantees a win.

Super Free Spins – Collecting 12 Scatters in the Free Spins round activates Super Free Spins. This feature starts with a Super Respin Mini game to set a multiplier, ranging from x1 to x91, using a similar format to the Free Spins mini game. The round features 3 Respins, resetting with each new multiplier symbol, and concludes similarly. The accumulated multiplier applies to all wins in the Super Free Spins, where 3 spins are played, ensuring stacked symbols and guaranteed wins.

Buy Feature – Players can instantly activate Free Spins from the base game. The available options include triggering the regular Free Spins for 70x the total bet or Super Free Spins for 300x the total bet.

Design and Soundtrack

Gates of Olympus Pachi is an online slot inspired by ancient Greek mythology, featuring a visually striking setting. The backdrop includes marble temples surrounded by thick, fluffy white clouds, enhancing the ethereal atmosphere. In addition, on the right side of the grid, an animated character resembling the well-known Greek god Zeus adds a dynamic element to the gameplay.

Moreover, the grid itself is filled with thematic symbols such as colourful gems outlined in gold, along with gold cups, rings, hourglasses, and crowns, contributing to the rich, mythological ambiance. This experience is further elevated by a soundtrack that complements the mythical theme perfectly.

For players who appreciate such immersive gaming experiences in both features and theme, the classic Gates of Olympus and Gates of Olympus 1000, both developed by Pragmatic Play and part of this series, offer great alternatives that are worth exploring.

The Bottom Line

Gates of Olympus Pachi stands out with its engaging features, including the Scatter Respin and Free Spins rounds, which offer players multiple chances to reset their game with beneficial spins. The inclusion of Super Free Spins with potential high multipliers further enhances the excitement. Additionally, the option to buy into these features directly allows for a customisable gaming experience, appealing to those who prefer immediate action.
