Heart of Rio

It is widely known that Brazilians enjoy throwing parties, and the Rio Carnival is the epitome of their festive calendar. If you are someone who loves the idea of celebrating, then Heart of Rio, a slot game from Pragmatic Play, is bound to capture your interest. You can practice your samba moves during the re-spins and increase your winnings using the five stacking symbols, which can expand or multiply the value of any cash symbols found on the reels. You can commence the carnival with free spins, during which any money or collect symbols that appear on the reels will combine to create a massive money symbol, which can trigger an additional re-spin.

Heart of Rio features a 5-reel grid and 25 paylines, with a default RTP of 96.5%. The manufacturer has rated its volatility as average, with a 3 out of 5 rating. Players can place a wide range of bets, from 0.25 € up to 125 € per spin. To earn a payout, you must land three or more identical symbols on an active payline. The purple lady symbol pays out 32x your bet when you land five of a kind, while the lady in red is the wild symbol, substituting for all symbols except the bonus, money, or collect symbols. Wilds will only appear on reels 2, 3, 4, or 5.

Heart of Rio is the ideal slot game for fans of the collect money or free spins features, as it includes both. The disco balls serve as cash symbols and appear on reels 1 to 4. On each spin, the money symbol takes on a random value from a pre-defined set. If one or more money symbols appear simultaneously with one of the five collect symbol variations on the last reel, one of the following events will occur:

• Collect: The values of all money symbols on the reels are added together, resulting in a win.
• Extra Credit Collect: The value from the Extra Credit Collect symbol is added to all cash symbols, and then the total amount is paid.
• Multiplier Collect: The value of all cash symbols on the reels is multiplied by the value of the Multiplier Collect symbol, and then a win is awarded.
• Expanding Collection: All reels containing a money symbol will be covered with money symbols of random values. These symbols will then be counted and added together to form a total win.
• Re-collect: All money symbols are locked in place, and the remaining cells are re-spun. The value of the locked cash symbols is added to any new ones from the re-spin, and then paid out.

The scatter symbols in Heart of Rio are a pair of bongo reels. If you land three of these scatter symbols simultaneously, you will be awarded 8 free spins as well as a token payout worth 1x your bet. During the free spins, the money collecting feature operates under the same rules as in normal spins, with one crucial difference. When cash tokens are hit, their values are added to a prize pool. Once the free spins conclude, the bonus amount is returned to the reels in the form of a giant money symbol on reels 1-4. A re-spin is then triggered, and if the collect symbol appears on reel number 5, the bonus amount will be paid out.
