King of Samba

King of Samba, developed by AvatarUX, is an engaging online slot that appeals to players who enjoy vibrant and lively gaming environments. The game is distinguished by several unique features designed to increase players' chances of winning. Although it does not overwhelm with an extensive array of features, it provides simple and balanced gameplay that is ideal for newcomers to the industry or those seeking less complex gaming sessions.

Gameplay features and bonuses

King of Samba is set on a simple grid with 3 reels and 3 rows. This slot offers an RTP rate of 96.15% and pairs low volatility with 5 paylines, resulting in a balanced gaming experience.

Wild Symbols – The game features Wild symbols, which substitute for all other symbols on the reels, except when the payline is comprised solely of Wilds, in which case they hold their own value. Notably, all Wilds in this game are Walking Wilds. They appear only on the top or middle row and move down one position with each spin until they exit the reels.

Walking Wilds may carry multipliers of 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, or 20x, with values adding together if multiple Wilds contribute to a win on the same payline. Occasionally, a spin might present up to 9 Walking Wilds, each guaranteed to carry a multiplier of at least 2x.

Design and Soundtrack

King of Samba immerses players in a festive and colorful atmosphere. The backdrop depicts a lively Latin American street adorned with brightly colored buildings, string lights crisscrossing from one side to the other, and fireworks that add vibrancy to the scene. A bustling crowd and dancers in impressive costumes also add depth to the setting.

In addition, the game's grid features thematic symbols, including six unique characters of men and women dressed in vibrant carnival costumes. This lively environment is perfectly enhanced by a soundtrack that complements the game’s dance theme.

For those who appreciate similar festive settings and gameplay features, Heart of Rio by Pragmatic Play and Brazil Bomba by Yggdrasil Gaming are excellent alternatives that offer comparable experiences.

The Bottom Line

King of Samba stands out with its Walking Wilds feature, which not only substitutes for other symbols but also comes with potential multipliers up to 20x. These Walking Wilds enhance every spin by moving downward, increasing the chances for consecutive wins. Moreover, the game's low volatility paired with a 96.15% RTP ensures frequent payouts, making it ideal for players seeking steady gameplay. Its simple yet engaging mechanics are suitable for both newcomers and seasoned players looking for uncomplicated fun.
