Legacy of Dynasties

Legacy of Dynasties, a creation by Play'n GO, immerses players in a world of Asian culture. It offers a somewhat modest but rewarding selection of features. These include Expanding symbols, Free Spins, and within Free Spins – Dynasty Spins. For fans of the ‘book of' style slots who appreciate the aesthetics of Asian-themed games, this slot has the potential to deliver a respectable maximum win of 2,300x your initial bet.

Gameplay features and bonuses

Legacy of Dynasties presents a standard 5-reel, 3-row layout with 10 fixed paylines. It offers a decent RTP of 96.28% and maintains a medium level of volatility for a balanced gaming experience.

Expanding Symbols: One of the game's notable features is the Expanding Symbols. During each spin, up to 10 symbols, excluding Scatters and Wilds, are randomly chosen to become Expanding symbols. When these symbols appear on at least 3 reels, they expand to cover all positions, potentially leading to winning combinations. Importantly, these expanded symbols do not need to be adjacent to create wins.

Free Spins: When Scatters land on reels 1, 3, and 5, the Free Spin Wheel is triggered. This wheel awards a modest 3 to 20 free spins. During these free spins, up to 10 random symbols are designated as Expanding symbols.

Landing 2 Scatters during Free Spins activates Dynasty Spins. These spins inherit the number of potential Expanding symbols from the triggering spin. Players can randomly receive between 3 to 8 Dynasty spins upon activation. It's essential to note that the maximum number of spins allowed in any bonus round is limited to 70, which concludes the round.

Design and Soundtrack

Legacy of Dynasties features an Asian-themed setting adorned with Asian-inspired decor like bonsai trees and pottery on the shelves behind the reels. The symbols include both traditional card values (J, Q, K, A) and beautifully rendered symbols and characters like frogs, peacocks, pandas, tigers, and more. Despite the abundance of Asian-themed slots, Legacy of Dynasties manages to impress with its pleasant presentation and attention to detail.

The Bottom Line

Legacy of Dynasties offers a somewhat limited set of features, including Expanding symbols and Free Spins, though the latter lacks unique elements. The Asian-themed ‘book of' style may appeal to those seeking a less common theme in this slot category. However, the maximum win potential of 2,300x, while not terrible, falls short compared to some other slots. If you prefer a straightforward slot with medium volatility and an Asian aesthetic, this one might cater to your taste.
